My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased." This reminds us of Clara.

Why we love her: Clara's zest for life makes her so much fun to be around!

Bouncy, happy-go-lucky Clara is three years old and weighs 47 pounds.

She is a very energetic companion on daily walks and will go for as long as you want. Clara will help you get your daily exercise and would be a fine hiking or running buddy, too.

Clara has the best time in the fenced yard, where she bounds about in total joy. Once she is done, she looks forward to hanging out with you to enjoy the day. She has so much love to give!

Due to her energy level, Clara would do best in a home with older children.

If you are looking for an active and fun companion, Clara could be the one for you!

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
