She is beauty, she is Grace! She's an adorable fun-loving kitten. Grace certainly lives up to her name and she is ready to grace your home with her loving and unique personality. Grace had a rough start to life but she is one tough cookie. The poor thing was hit by a car at two months old and it left her blind in her left eye. She's never let that stop her though! Even though her depth perception can be a little off, she still loves playing!
Grace is definitely a cat's cat… She loves playing with her feline friends. She can often be found watching them closely and following them around so she can sleep next to them or run around and chase them. She did amazingly with all her foster feline friends, but she can be a little overly playful with jumping and tackling while she’s playing, so a home with another cat that is patient would be a great fit for her. Although Grace loves to play, she is adaptable to what her kitty companions desire! In her foster home she happily played chase with one of the fast, young cats but also loved napping quietly with a senior cat who did not like to be touched. Grace doesn’t have much experience with dogs as far as we know, but she would likely be able to adjust to canine friend as long as she is given a patient and supervised introduction.
Grace is still adjusting to people so she's not a lap cat or very fond of being picked up, but she loves lounging near her person. She can be very affectionate when the mood strikes her, and she will sit near you and accept pets, but she is not a big cuddler or a lap cat. Grace isn’t a great fit for a home with children since she does not like being picked up or grabbed roughly, but she could adjust to a home with older children who are very gentle and do not pick her up. Overall, Grace would thrive in a house with other cats to play with and lots of toys! She a beautiful, tough young kitty who’s had a tough go of it and she may open up more as she gets more comfortable!
When you hear playtime, think of Grace! Grace LOVES running around with her fellow cat fosters and playing with her spring toys. She loves her tunnels and ball track towers too! Anytime she can explore and play with her toys, she's happy. Grace loves playing with her springs so much she will even carry them around the house, always dropping them on the floor again for a good chase. She also adores playing with dangling toys and can entertain herself happily just playing around with catnip stuffies and the ball track tower! She does tend to miss the ball sometimes due to her depth perception issues from her injury, but she doesn't let that stop her! If Grace had a super power, it would be perseverance. She survived being hit by a car and has never let it slow her down, she’s so strong!
According to Grace’s foster mom, she will miss her dearly, especially her quirky charm. Grace even makes little angry teapot noises when she's disgruntled and, unfortunately for her, its simply too adorable! Grace is a very unique and special kitty who is inspirationally thriving after her tough start in life. We know that there is a perfect family out there who are ready to welcome Grace with open arms!
