Sonnet is an energetic and curious kitten who loves to explore and play. She is very affectionate, and will happily follow her humans around hoping to find an opportunity for some extra cuddles.
As she is still quite young, Sonnet would do best in a forever home with at least one other young kitty playmate. Sonnet has several littermates (the S-named kittens - Sailor, Sachi, Sonar, Salazar) who would be excellent and adorable options if you don’t already have a kitty at home.
Sonnet enjoys playing with children who are in preschool and older. She has not yet had a chance for any playtime with toddlers or dogs. Sonnet is up-to-date on her vaccinations, has been spayed, and has excellent litterbox manners. She is litter-box trained and has been well-socialized with other cats and people.

Purr Partners Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, foster-based, all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in Central North Carolina — incorporated in 2009 by two friends, four cats, and no budget. These two women realized the need for a "cat only" rescue that worked with rural shelters — where cats routinely lose their lives. Purr Partners was founded to save the lives of those most in jeopardy with little hope of survival. High-kill rural shelters became the focus for Purr Partners, and that is still true today. From those humble beginnings, the rescue has grown to over a hundred active volunteers and a budget of approximately $175,000. At any given time there are between 100 and 150 cats and kittens in foster care. We have saved the lives of over 3500 cats and are still growing!
