How can you hear the name Aurora and not think of sleeping beauty? Our Aurora is a sweet and loving beauty and thankfully not in an eternal sleep. Although she is a dreamer and she dreams of the day when her family will take her home. Aurora is a one year old hound mix and weighs in the medium size range of 35 pounds. Although she is not in a fairly tale, Aurora is looking for her fairy tale ending of happily ever after.
She was found under a shed with her sister, Cupcake. They were scared, underweight and in need of medical attention. They received, love, support and medical car. They have bounced back showing a great personality and giving lots of love. Aurora loves being with humans and soaking up attention. She also does well with other dogs and children. She is outgoing, energetic and enjoys running in a play yard with other dogs. She cannot wait to have ample opportunities for play partners and/or snuggle buddies. She has not had an opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue. Her acceptance of a cat is unknown at this time.
She is already ahead of the game with her perfected house training so she can show her family how it is done. Aurora is currently learning her crate and leash walking skills. Although Aurora is house trained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment.
Fun times and unlimited possibilities are ahead for Aurora. Embrace fond memories and story book tales when Aurora is part of your family.
