Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🐾 Meet Button: Your New Best Friend! 🐾
Button is a sweet, affectionate girl with the softest, silkiest coat that’s made for cuddles. She loves car rides—snuggling up and snoozing like the perfect co-pilot. She’s all about giving kisses and curling up in your lap like a baby. Button is eager to learn, loves attention, and would thrive in a home where she can bond deeply with her people.
This playful pup is full of energy and loves to run and leap like she’s flying through the air! She’ll need a home where she can get plenty of exercise to burn off her zoomies and keep her happy. Button is also working on socializing with other dogs—she needs a slow introduction, but once she’s comfortable, all she wants to do is play. She can be a little rough in her playstyle, so her adopter will need to continue helping her learn proper doggy manners.
Button is still mastering basic commands and potty training, and she’s making great progress despite being treated for a UTI. She’s very alert and vocal, letting you know when something catches her attention, so a detached home may be best for her. Bonus points if you enjoy teaching tricks—this smart girl is eager to learn and would love to show off her skills!
Sadly, Button was returned through no fault of her own—her previous adopter is terminally ill. Because she’s still learning and didn’t have much guidance in her past, she would do best in a home without young children.
If you’re looking for a playful, loving, and high-energy companion with a luxurious coat you’ll love to pet, Button is ready to leap into your heart!
✨Could you be the patient, active, and loving home Button has been waiting for✨

More about this rescue
The Follow Your Heart Foundation is committed to preventing the unnecessary euthanization and abuse of abandoned and/or abused animals.
In order to fulfill this mission, Follow Your Heart will engage in the following activities:
Foster Program-Animals will be rescued from shelters and placed in temporary foster homes to save them from being euthanized. During this time, animals will be provided with proper nutrition, shelter and analysis to determine appropriate long term housing.
Adoption Services - the organization will work to find each animal that is rescued a forever home that is willing and able to make the long term commitment to a family pet.
Public Education - Abuse, neglect and irresponsible pet ownership leads to thousands of animals being killed each year. One way to combat these issues is through continued public education to not only raise awareness about animal abuse, but also promote responsible pet ownership.
Medical Treatment - Animals rescued will be provided proper medical treatment as needed.
