Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Bambi was found by one of our volunteers near the Deer Creek State Park Lodge last winter. She was heavily pregnant, and she gave birth soon after being rescued. Sadly, all of her babies were stillborn. Unfortunately, complications like this are not uncommon for malnourished, abandoned cats.
Now that Bambi has recuperated and received veterinary care, this polydactyl (aka Hemingway or mitten paw) orange tabby girl is seeking a forever home with a patient and loving person! This sweet and shy girl was initially quite scared, but she has made a lot of progress. Note that she can still be timid when meeting new people, and she’ll require time to acclimate to a new home and new people.
Bambi is estimated to be about 2 years old, and she is living in a foster home in the Columbus area. She has tested FIV/FeLV negative, and she’s been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Bambi’s foster mom says she likes other cats, and she ignores the older beagle dogs in the home.
If you're located in Ohio, and you’re interested in meeting or adopting Bambi, submit an application via our website - https://www.forgotten4paws.com/adopt-adoptform. Applicants can also request to foster-to-adopt (meaning a cat can be fostered on a trial basis before making a decision to adopt). If you can’t adopt or aren’t a good match, please help by sharing her post! If you have any questions, email contactusforgotten4paws@yahoo.com

Since we have no physical shelter, our cats and kittens live in our small network of foster homes. We utilize newsletters, social media, and websites such as Adopt-a-Pet to advertise the available cats/kittens. We also sometimes bring foster kittens/cats to the Easton PetSmart on weekends to meet potential adopters. If you are interested in meeting a particular cat, please submit an application online, and then email us to inquire about how to meet the cat.
