My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little guy is Chorizo. He made the trip north a few weeks ago and has settled into his foster home but he hopes it won’t be long before he finds his furever home!!

Chorizo is around 1 year old and is thought to be a Jack Russell/chi mix….maybe? Regardless of his breed he’s quite small at only about 9lbs. He’s good with dogs of all sizes and ok with cats.

New Leash on Life Dog Rescue is a foster based dog rescue that takes in dogs from local owner surrenders as well as rescues dogs from high kill shelters in other states. We also work with local shelters when they have a dog who is just not doing well in a shelter environment. We are an all breed rescue and we have dogs of all shapes and sizes. We rescue dogs who are need medical attention as well as those who are healthy and just looking for a great family.
