Meet Armando! This timid guy is on a journey to find his confidence. Brought in by a kind community member, Armando is still a bit of a mystery, but we're learning more about him each day. He takes time to warm up to new people and situations, so a patient family in a calm household would be the perfect fit. We're not sure yet how he feels about other dogs, cats, or if he's potty trained, but one thing is clear-he's making progress on the leash and absolutely loves his treats! Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
