My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alya was found abandoned, a recent mother. Someone's questionable decision is your gain - she is the sweetest wigglebutt we have met in a long time!

Alya is a social butterfly, terrific with people and other dogs alike. She's a breeze to walk, and so calm and good natured you will enjoy the outing just as much as she does!

(We tested her with a couple of other dogs, including a male determined to get fresh, and Alya simply scooted away from him while keeping her good humor. We don't know how she is with cats, but she does not seem hyper focused on small animals.)

At less than 50 pounds she's on the small side for her breed.

Come meet wonderful Alya at FAAS, 1590 Fortmann Way in Alameda, Calif., any afternoon but Mondays and Tuesdays.
