My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Dogs are like small rays of light that brighten our days." This makes us think of Asher!

Asher is 18 months old and weighs 48 pounds, so he is a great choice if you want to adopt a medium sized companion. He is so handsome with his beautifully patterned salt and pepper coat with white markings.

Asher has a friendly, good natured personality that makes him a sought after companion.

He has such a good time on daily walks and enjoys being close by your side to explore the beautiful trails on the shelter grounds. Asher also enjoys playing in the fenced yard.

Asher is so sweet and affectionate and a wonderful cuddle buddy. Belly rubs are one of his favorite things. We love spending time with him?

Asher has had a great time in play groups with his fellow shelter companions. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility.

Asher will be such a fun and loyal family dog!

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
