Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Merry is a charming 1.5-year-old short hair tabby with a gentle, independent personality. She’s an easygoing cat who enjoys her personal space but also loves a good pet. Though she may not always be the most outgoing, Merry has a playful side—especially when it comes to her favorite game: chasing the laser pointer! She can’t resist a good chase and will keep you entertained with her agility and curiosity.
Merry is also a family-oriented girl who is very comfortable with her siblings. She has one sister and two brothers (Ginger, Pippin and Anubis) and she would be thrilled to be adopted with one (or more!) of them. They share a special bond, and she feels happiest when surrounded by her feline family. If you're looking to bring home a pair (or trio!) of sweet cats, Merry and her siblings would be the perfect
fit!
Merry is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to join her forever home—whether it's with her siblings or as a solo pet. If you're interested in adopting her (or perhaps even a pair or trio with her siblings!), please reach out and come meet this sweet, independent girl today!

More about this rescue
Mission Statement
Fat Kitty City Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c)3 Corporation, dedicated to ending needless animal suffering, through spaying, neutering, socializing, adopting and other aggressive approaches.
Our objectives are:
Provide a "no-kill" sanctuary for unwanted, Feline AIDS positive or negative, abused, neglected, feral, tame, stray or lost pets.
When possible, each pet will be rehabilitated, socialized and adopted (with a microchip) to a good family.
Those pets that cannot be rehabilitated, will live out their lives in our sanctuary, in dignity. They will receive love, housing, food and veterinary care.
To spay or neuter every pet we receive, to reduce unnecessary suffering.
Provide reasonable space for each pet to live out a high quality of life (not to live out their lives in small cages with barely enough room to move around).
Provide relief from the weather by providing a heated shelter during cold weather, etc.
Provide stimulation. A yard with trees to climb, lawn and dirt to play in and toys to enjoy.
