Ginger is a sweet and playful 1.5-year-old tuxedo cat. Ginger is affectionate, loves being petted, and will nudge you for attention when she’s in the mood for some love. Though she’s not a lap cat, she loves to be close by, often curling up in cozy spots or lounging near you while you relax.
One of Ginger’s favorite activities is chasing a laser toy—she’s quick, energetic, and always ready for a game of pounce! When she’s not
playing, she enjoys quiet moments resting in peaceful spots around the house.
Ginger is spayed and up-to-date on all her vaccinations, so she’s ready to find her forever home. Ginger has two brothers and one sister who are also looking for a home, and she would feel much more comfortable in a new home if she could be adopted with one of them. Having a familiar companion will help her adjust more easily and feel safe and secure in her new space.
Ginger would do best in a calm, peaceful home and prefers to be the only pet in the household. She’s looking for a family who will appreciate her gentle, independent nature and give her the time and space to settle in.
**Ready to meet Ginger and possibly one of her siblings, Merry, Pippin or Anubis?** Ginger would love to find a forever home with a loving family and the comfort of a familiar feline face nearby.

More about this rescue
Mission Statement
Fat Kitty City Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c)3 Corporation, dedicated to ending needless animal suffering, through spaying, neutering, socializing, adopting and other aggressive approaches.
Our objectives are:
Provide a "no-kill" sanctuary for unwanted, Feline AIDS positive or negative, abused, neglected, feral, tame, stray or lost pets.
When possible, each pet will be rehabilitated, socialized and adopted (with a microchip) to a good family.
Those pets that cannot be rehabilitated, will live out their lives in our sanctuary, in dignity. They will receive love, housing, food and veterinary care.
To spay or neuter every pet we receive, to reduce unnecessary suffering.
Provide reasonable space for each pet to live out a high quality of life (not to live out their lives in small cages with barely enough room to move around).
Provide relief from the weather by providing a heated shelter during cold weather, etc.
Provide stimulation. A yard with trees to climb, lawn and dirt to play in and toys to enjoy.
