Yellow/Brown—16+ Kids (People Selective), Only Pet
Mini is a lovely girl excited to get out and go on adventures. Mini is great on a leash. She tolerates handling at first but then starts to enjoy it and leans into you, wanting more; she is curious about her surroundings and the handler. Mini is a bit more cautious about new people and objects; she likes to take time to investigate. She decides if she’d like to interact or not. She was initially okay with a female but growled when she hunched over to pet her on the head. Mini was standoffish, growled, barked, and asked for space when introduced to a male. Squeaker scared her and doesn’t know any behavior cues. There is very little startling when it comes to different objects. She’d rather avoid the object than investigate it. There was no resource guarding to be cautious about, even when removing the resource. During the dog-to-dog greeting, she tried to bite three other times and connected one time; it was easy to redirect, but she still returned to fixating on the tester dog and trying to bite again. She must be the only dog in the home, as she will be selective.
