Heidi is an incredibly sweet girl who is currently feeling a bit stressed. While she hesitated to come out of her kennel, she quickly adapts and walks wonderfully on a leash. Although she may be nervous around unfamiliar people, she handles interactions very well. Heidi prefers to take her time investigating new people and places before fully engaging. Right now, she is still finding her comfort zone and is not quite ready to play with toys, but she shows potential to learn. She does understand basic cues like `sit` and `wait,` and she has successfully redirected to stay off counters. She is calm around various objects and shows no signs of being easily startled. Heidi allows food to be removed while she’s eating and enjoys being petted. She greeted a stranger with appropriate behavior, although she chose not to engage further. She also interacted well with another dog but preferred to keep her distance afterward, indicating that she’s comfortable with the dog`s presence while still needing her space. Overall, Heidi is a sweet girl who will thrive as she becomes more confident in her environment.
