My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Cinnybun- a warm, gooey cinnamon roll of a dog, fresh out of the oven and ready to sprinkle some sweetness into your life!

This 4 year old staffy mix is as comforting as a cozy pastry and twice as lovable. With a heart as soft as her sugar-coated snuggles, Cinnybun's easy-going, couch potato personality will have you charmed at first sniff. She'll even show off her best "shake-a-paw" trick for a treat!

Cinnybun is still learning her leash manners but has a big appetite for learning. She will need someone dedicated and who will help her perfect her leash skills to make walks more enjoyable for both of you. She's needs to be shown that life outside the shelter is as sweet as cinnamon sugar with her new person! She'd do the best as the only "bun" in the home, no other cats or dogs.

If you're ready for a dash of love, a sprinkle of fun, and a whole lot of snuggle, this sugary sweetheart might just be the one for you. Add a little spice to your life and put in an application for Cinnybun today! <3

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
