My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“A dog will always teach you something about love and loyalty.” This reminds us of Miller.

Why we love him: Miller is such a good natured and sweet dog!

It's Miller time! This great dog is two years old and weighs 47 pounds. His fluffy white coat is beautifully marked with black and tan patches and spots. It's perfect for petting, which he greatly enjoys.

Miller is an enthusiastic companion on daily walks and is so interested in his surroundings. He also loves to run and play in the fenced yard, and we love seeing him have so much fun.

We enjoy sitting with Miller to hang out and enjoy the day with him. He is so affectionate and good natured.

Miller has enjoyed being in play groups with his fellow shelter companions. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility.

Miller is a bright dog who should master any commands you wish to teach him.

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
