Ready to blossom with a loving family! Hi, my name is Bella! I can be a tad shy at first, but am friendly and playful as I open up. I am looking for someone who can have patience with me as I continue to gain confidence. I love to play with toys and toss them around. Treats are the best way to my heart! I've also been told I'm a good walker who doesn't pull and I don't mind playing out in the rain either! I would benefit from continuing my training, working on my manners and learning new things at a comfortable pace. If it sounds like we could be a good match, I'd love to meet you!

Operating the Vola Lawson Animal Shelter, an open-admission facility and Alexandria’s only animal shelter, the League provides care for more than 3,500 animals every year, including strays, lost pets, local wildlife, rescue animals, and pets surrendered by their owners. Serving the community since 1946, the League has contracted with the City of Alexandria to provide animal care, control, and sheltering services since 1989. The AWLA is committed to ending animal homelessness, promoting animal welfare, and serving as an educational resource for the community.
