Anya’s Personality
Anya is the kind of dog who wants to be your best friend. She’s calm and chill, content to relax at your feet after a good walk, but don’t mistake that for boring—she’s got a playful streak, too! If you’re up for a game or an adventure, she’s all in. And when it comes to affection? Anya’s a pro. She’ll gently nudge your arm for pets and gaze up at you with those big, loving eyes, melting your heart in an instant.
She’s also incredibly intuitive. When one of her humans was feeling down, Anya climbed right into their lap (all 50-ish pounds of her!) to offer comfort. If you’re looking for a dog with an emotional support vibe, Anya’s got you covered.

After application is reviewed, a pre-screener contacts you to discuss your application.
Once that is complete, the screener decides if you are recommended for a meet and greet.The entire household should be willing and present for the meet and greet.
If the meet and greet goes well and they are approved to adopt, then we will proceed with a home check.
An adoption contract is required after the home check is approved.

All of our rescues enter their new home spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots, and micro-chipped. We do our best to ensure that they're healthy before going to their new home. We strive to educate the importance of responsible dog parenting, including spay/neuter and training. We are driven by compassion, love, and hope.
