My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Who doesn't know that the dog is the epitome of devotion?" This makes us think of dear Madison.

Why we love her: Madison is our shelter sweetheart!

Madison is four years old, weighs 80 pounds, and is an absolute charmer! Her silky soft black and white coat is perfect for petting and her merry brown eyes reflect her joy for life.

Madison is such a happy-go-lucky dog who is the best company! We love spending time with her! Madison's cheerful presence brightens every day!

Madison is an energetic, congenial companion who adores being close by your side on daily walks. She also loves to run and play in the fenced yard.

She is such a wonderful cuddle buddy who enjoys being petted and loved on.

Madison has enjoyed play dates with her fellow shelter companions. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility.

Madison will be a fun, loyal and devoted doggie friend!

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
