Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Wilburt! Wilburt is a Pug mix that came into our care from another local animal shelter along with five siblings and mom. He has only been in our care for a short amount of time, so it is difficult for us to know his true personality. However, he is still young, and he is at the perfect age to start getting some training in. He is good around other dogs, with cats we have not cat tested him yet, but we are always more than welcome to cat test him. He is still fairly young, so he should be good around cats, however, we always recommend a slow introduction.
If you are my furever home, come visit me at Valley Animal Center's dog adoption center.
To get a head start on the adoption process, you can also fill out the online pre-adoption application! After you fill it out, a dog care associate will contact you shortly. The form is found here: https://valleyanimal.org/dog-adoption-application/ Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Age: 0yrs 0mths 12wks

More about this shelter
Valley Animal Center houses thousands of dogs and cats annually until they are placed in loving homes. Majority of our shelter animals are rescued from local animal control agencies who have no more space for their animals. Even animals who have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured are cared for and nurtured until a loving home is ready to adopt them.
We are easily accessible to the residents of the entire six-county region it serves. Even individuals from out of the area and out of state have come to Valley Animal Center to adopt animals from us and utilize our clinic services.
Our mission is to unite dogs and cat with loving people but it does not simply end at the adoption process. With our low-cost clinic, a membership-based dog park, and humane education resources found on our website, we want to ensure our community has easy access to resources that will help them along in their pet ownership journey.
