My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org

We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.  Some of our kitties can be seen at our PetSmart partner store in Gig Harbor and it will be noted on their profile if they are at this public location.

Aries is a very sweet kitten.  He loves play time and gets along well with other cats and dogs.  He is cuddly and loves to be held. Ares purrs very easily and loudly.  He craves attention of any kind.  He did very well in his surgery recovery and enjoyed his daily exercises with us.  He is ready for a loving home with lots of play time and cuddles.
This beautiful baby boy came to us from a homeless encampment with a broken hip.  He got FHO surgery on Oct 2nd so he will have a great life ahead with 4 legs.

Prior to adoption, as a minimum,  our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated age appropriate (will need additional vaccines in some cases), parasite treated/prevented and micro-chipped.

More about this rescue

We are a compassionate group of volunteers that rescue dogs mostly from shelters when their time is up or when they are at capacity and will have to euthanize adoptable pets. We get many different breeds both pure bred and mixes, from very tiny to very large.
We believe every adoptable animals should have a 2nd chance at a great life. We seek commited, equally passionate adopters to provide a wonderful, loving home to our dogs!
We also believe spaying & neutering is the answer to the homeless animal population along with education.
