My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bitsy: A Sweet, Shy Pup Ready to Show You Her Love!

Bitsy is a gentle and affectionate dog who will melt your heart with her quiet charm. She may be a little shy when you first meet her, but once she feels comfortable, she'll open up and show you her playful, loving side. Bitsy loves nothing more than curling up for snuggles, and she's always ready to share her affection once she trusts you.

This sweet girl is looking for a calm, patient home where she can take her time to adjust and settle in. She's a great companion for someone who enjoys quiet moments and a little bit of playful fun once she feels at ease.

If you're looking for a loyal friend who will shower you with love and snuggles, Bitsy might just be the perfect match for you!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
