My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Koa is an absolute sweetheart with a heart full of love to give! This cuddly boy thrives on affection and is happiest when he's snuggled up with his favorite humans. His journey hasn't been easy-Koa's early life was challenging, and it has left him cautious and sensitive to loud noises or sudden movements. Because of this, Koa would do best in a calm, adult-only home where he can feel safe and secure.

Once you earn his trust, Koa will be your most loyal and devoted companion. He's a high-energy bundle of joy who loves nothing more than playing with his toys and running around with his three foster brothers. This guy has an endless supply of energy and is always up for a good game of fetch (which he's learning to master) or prancing around the yard like the happy, playful pup he is.

As Koa grows in confidence and security, he's showing signs of becoming a wonderful adventure buddy. Daily walks, car rides, and outdoor fun are definitely in his future! He's a pro at potty training, knows how to sit, and adores being showered with hugs and kisses. At bedtime, he'll happily snuggle under the covers with you, making him the ultimate cuddle companion.

Koa is well on his way to living his best life, and with the right family to nurture his spirit, he'll flourish into the incredible dog he was always meant to be. Could you be the one to give Koa his happily ever after?

Koa is neutered, up to date on shots, hw negatvie and microchipped.

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
