My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

11 month old Chihuahua mix Rita is such a sweetheart! She’s a very affectionate and loving girl. She’s submissive and demure and also full of doofus puppy energy. Everyone falls in love with her immediately. An embark DNA test shows she’s 50% chihuahua and 50% mix of other toy breeds. she’s 9 lbs.

Rita was given to us by a neighbor in April. He rescued her from a family that lived in public housing and couldn’t take care of her litter of pups. We weren’t planning on getting a second dog but she’s cute so we took her in. She gets along well with our 7 year old minnie aussie and they play all day. We’ve greatly enjoyed having her around the house but my partner was recently diagnosed with cancer and we are not able to take care of both dogs.
She is up to date on her shots, chipped, and spayed. She is crate trained and house trained and uses a doggie door.
She just needs love and a new furever home.
