Moonstone and her siblings were part of a mass-rescue from a hoarding situation. Moonstone has four brothers, but she is the only one with her unusual flexibility. Is she double jointed? Are her limbs secretly just attached with loose rubber bands? We don’t know, but nothing is actually dislocated or painful. Moonstone can contort into some fascinating poses. That said, you should adopt her for her friendly and inquisitive personality, not her silvery fur, deep golden eyes, or twisty tricks! Those are just bonuses. Moonstone was born May of 2024. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Additional adoption info

All interested parties must fill out an adoption application and be approved prior to adoption. If a family has currently, or in the recent past had pets then a veterinary reference is required. If not then two personal references are required. Our adoption fees for dogs range from $150-$300. Our adoption fee for cats is free will donation. After an adoption has been approved an adoption contract must be signed.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
