Larry has a very loud purr. You will notice this quickly because he is extremely friendly and will do whatever is necessary to put his face near your face. Larry likes vertical space to climb and jump. Larry likes toys. Larry likes playing with other kittens. Larry is fearless. Larry never gets tired of human attention.

Larry was born May 2024. He is neutered, micro chipped and up-to-date with vaccinations. As always, our cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****

Additional adoption info

All interested parties must fill out an adoption application and be approved prior to adoption. If a family has currently, or in the recent past had pets then a veterinary reference is required. If not then two personal references are required. Our adoption fees for dogs range from $150-$300. Our adoption fee for cats is free will donation. After an adoption has been approved an adoption contract must be signed.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
