Message for details:
This pet is available for adoption in a foster home. To adopt them, please email us at SDCadoptions@sdhumane.org and provide a good callback number.

How this pet arrived:
Floppy was brought in by a our Humane Law Enforcement. Floppy has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered and is now ready for his new home! Maybe that home could be your home??

Why Floppy might be the one for you:
Floppy is the embodiment of friendliness, always eager to greet everyone with a wagging tail. Floppy would do best in a home with no other pets. Floppy is best in a calm and consistent environment. Chaos and lots of people around are not his thing. Give him a yard for playing with his toys and/or lots of walks through his quiet neighborhood and Floppy is happiest. Floppy's love for treats makes him a quick learner for new tricks and manners. His friendly nature and eagerness to learn make him a wonderful companion. Floppy even enjoyed a special spa day with famous groomer Gabriel Feitosa and was a superstar in the bathtub! Want to learn more? Reach out to the email address listed above! He hopes that he will go home with you. This shelter stuff is OK, but a home is where he wants to be. Might that be your home?

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
