My name is Smokey!

Smokey was rescued after being abandoned at a dog park in the winter of 2022. We took him in as our then 4th cat and we have loved him dearly since then. However in the last week we have lost our 5 year old cat due to FIC caused by stress.We’ve come to realize that Smokey and our late beloved cat fought more regularly than we would like and by the time we put all the puzzle pieces together, it was too late for our boy.
As a family our loss feels like a heavy, stark reality check and we cannot unfairly continue to put Smokey and our other two female cats who are also overwhelmed by Smokey’s rough-play through continued stress and have come to the conclusion that it’s time to give Smokey the life he deserves and it is sadly not with our family.
Smokey is a super loving boy that needs to be the only cat in the house. He gets along beautifully with our 60lb dog and they play well so we believe a cat loving dog would be a good fit too. He needs and deserves more attention than we can give
