Meet Honey Bun! He is a curious cat always exploring his surroundings. He will greet you at the door when you come home and follow you around just wanting to be by your side. He loves to play and he enjoys most toys, especially kicker toys! However, he can be a little rough when playing with other cats and humans. Honey Bun would do best in a home where he is an only cat, or possibly with other cats that want to play. He was around a family dog for a while and they just did not get along. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines.

Honey Bun is neutered, has age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and treated for parasites. His adoption fee is $125. Do you have the purrfect home for this sweet boy?

If your application is approved, one of our board members will contact you for a phone interview.

3.
Meet the Pet

During your phone interview, we will work on setting up a date/time for you to meet your new family member at the Petsmart in Troy.

Additional adoption info

* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old.
* If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed.
* We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family.
* For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best.
* If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time.
* We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child.

Our adoption fee of $100 (cash/check) includes feline leukemia/FIV testing, deworming, flea preventative, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. All Tigerlily cats are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered prior to being available for adoption.
