Mickey is a handsome and sweet puppy! He is working on manners and house training. He likes car rides and is doing well with leash training. Mickey is good around children and is a big cuddle bug.

Mickey is six months old and weighs 35 pounds.

We promote the humane care of all abandoned and stray animals in our community. We are a no-kill shelter. All of our pets leave the shelter for their forever homes micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, and altered.

Founded in 2002, Helping Strays is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported entirely by donations.

Our lucky animals receive appropriate medical care, are featured on the Helping Strays website "adoption list" and are taken to several adoption events every month in an attempt to find permanent, loving homes.
