My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Goosey is a spirited 9-month-old Lab mix puppy with an endless supply of energy and a big heart! She's not only eager to learn but also highly motivated by treats, making training a joy for both her and you. Goosey is already learning to respond to cues like "sit" and "lie down," and she's a quick learner which makes training fun! However, she could use a bit of guidance when it comes to leash walking and learning not to jump up when she's excited, and would benefit with some puppy classes with an Animal Kind trainer.

This sweet girl is a total cuddle bug and adores belly scratches-she truly just wants to be close to her people. Goosey seems to get along well with other dogs, so she may be a great fit in a home with a canine friend. Her enthusiastic personality makes her the perfect match for an active family who can give her lots of playtime, mental stimulation, and exercise.

Due to her upcoming spay surgery, we're currently only accepting local applications. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and lively companion, Goosey may be the perfect addition to your family!

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:
