Hi there! My name is Topaz and I'm a shy, quirky, and affectionate kitty looking for my new home. I may take a little while to warm up to new people, but once I do, you'll find that I absolutely love getting pets and giving head bonks. If you're looking for a loving companion, and can give me the patience I need to come out of my shell, I'd love to meet you!

If there are kids in my new home, I need to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.

I need a slow introduction to cats. I can share my space with cats, but I'd like to get used to the idea over time.

The Humane Society for Southwest Washington uses the following guidelines for adoptions:

1. Adopted animals will be spayed or neutered prior to their adoption.

2. Adopted animals will be placed as companion animals.

3. Adopted animals must be kept in accordance with all local laws and ordinances.

4. All animals leaving the shelter must be wearing identification and restrained by leash or carrier.
