My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Colt, a neutered male Lab and Pitbull mix who is ready to find his new forever home! Colt was surrendered to CHS by his previous owner who was no longer able to care for him, but this sweet boy is eager to start a fresh chapter with a loving family. Colt is a strong and energetic dog, so he'll need an owner who can keep up with his enthusiasm and help him burn off his energy. Due to his strength, Colt pulls hard on leash, so we recommend using a harness to make walks more enjoyable for both him and his new family. Colt is also quite jumpy, so he would do best in a home with children over the age of 6 who can handle his energetic nature. Colt can be a bit selective with other dogs, so slow and careful introductions are a must if there are any other dogs in the home. With the right guidance and patience, Colt has the potential to become a loyal and loving companion who will bring joy to the right family. If you're ready to take on a strong, active, and loving dog who will thrive with the right training and care, Colt could be the perfect addition to your home!
