Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Freya is 5 years old, and a lovable couch potato. She joined us in 2020. She is extremely good with people, including kids, and she is very smart and easy to train. She is not good with other dogs or small pets, so she requires a home where she can be the only pet. The past year has been rough on the family, medically and financially, and we find ourselves struggling to keep up with the care for a dog. She has had to take a backseat as far as our priorities have been concerned for several months now. We are also going to move into a smaller home soon, where she likely won’t be allowed to follow. I’ve been considering rehoming her all year, and now I feel like it’s the best thing for her. Due to her temperament towards other animals, I am too scared to surrender her to a shelter. I want her to have a chance to live out her life with a family that can keep up with her care. She’s a very sweet girl, I know she would be happy with whoever can give her the attention she deserves.
