My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maddie is a loving and happy dog with boundless energy. She loves to play catch, run, and socialize with dogs of all sizes, and she truly thrives with lots of activity. However, her size and high energy level have proven to be a challenge in our home. Our young children are often overwhelmed by her enthusiasm, and she unintentionally bumps into them and their friends while playing, which has led to fearful moments and frequent tears. Despite our efforts, our kids have not been able to overcome their discomfort around her, which has led to a strained relationship that just hasn’t improved.
Additionally, we spend a lot of time with our elderly grandparents, who feel uneasy about Maddie’s size and energy, fearing she might accidentally cause them to fall. Because of these challenges, we often find ourselves needing to restrict her movement by keeping her on a leash or in her kennel, which limits her ability to fully enjoy the attention and freedom she deserves.
