Aster may be petite in size, but she has a BIG personality! She adores neck scratches and attention – her morning routine is to move to your shoulder and cuddle under your chin while purring loudly. Sometimes her excitement even results in a little drooling…Aster is very intelligent and inquisitive. She looks in your eyes while trying to understand human words and will converse with a range of feline sounds. Her meows become quite insistent when she is hungry! We don’t know Aster’s early life history because she was found lost or abandoned, but it appears that she worries about her next meal. For this reason, she needs to be fed measured portions at mealtimes (currently 3 times daily) rather than leaving food out. Be forewarned that she is also a food scrounger, so cat food and human food will need to be contained and out of reach. She has proven to be quite a diva and does not want to share attention. For this reason, Aster needs to be placed in a single pet household. She has a high energy level and loves to play with a variety of toys. Aster is sure to bring much love and companionship to her new home!

We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.
Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.
Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.
Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
