Meet the Pet
There are dogs that stand out. That are just amazing. That people were unkind to. We do our best to help them get over their previous trauma. He is a special guy and once he steals your heart he will never let go.

Meet Sweet Potato!
Sweet Potato and his sister, Cranberry Sauce, were found in the country on their own; alone and scared these two sweet siblings were trying desperately to survive.
A wonderful good Samaritan could not leave them and decided to save them and help them find a new life where they would be safe and loved. She was able to safely secure and care for them but owners were never located. The kind Samaritan reached out to Legacy Humane Society for help finding them loving forever homes.
Sweet Potato loves to play with other dogs, and shares his favorite stuffed toys with anyone that will play with him.
He is an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix, with beautiful soft black curly hair and speckled socks, He is sweet, smart and cuddly, he loves attention and belly rubs and has a very calm energy.
Sweet Potato is crate trained, sleeps through the night in his crate like an angel, and is doing excellent on house training.
He is working on leash training and rides excellent in the car for adventures.
Sweet Potato would be great in a home with other dogs, cats and kids.
