My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cami – A Little Adventurer Ready for Her Forever Home! 🏠💖

Cami is a gentle, curious soul who’s ready to bring warmth, joy, and unconditional love to her forever family. She is crate trained and doing great with house training.

At just 11 weeks old, Cami’s eyes sparkle with wonder, and her heart is as big as her playful spirit. She was found walking in the middle of a busy street in Houston when she was just 8 weeks old, and since that day, her foster family has been showering her with love, care, and safety. Cami’s already had two rounds of vaccinations, and her health is perfect—she’s ready to find a family who’ll make her as happy as she’ll make them.

Cami is a snuggle enthusiast, an outdoor explorer, and a loyal friend who’s simply waiting for the chance to share her love. She is also great with other dogs. She needs a family who will welcome her with open arms, nurture her unique personality, and show her what it truly means to be home.

Could you be the one to give Cami the forever family she deserves? Reach out if you're ready to bring home this sweet little adventurer and start a lifetime of love together. 🌟 Applications at bigloverescue.org.

Additional adoption info

We are extremely thorough with our adoption process. Our goal is to find the best fit for our dogs. We reserve the right to deny anyone a dog if we feel the applicant is not qualified or is not a good fit for the dog at our discretion. We require two personal references that we call to check character and get a recommendation on why or why not the applicant is a good candidate. Also, we call the vet reference to be sure the applicants current dog is current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. The home check is mandatory to be sure the applicant lives where they say they live and the pet will live in a safe environment.

More about this rescue

The Charity's specific purpose is to rescue lost or abandoned dogs from shelters, from the streets or from owners who are no longer able to care for them. Our goal is to prevent further euthanasia of these animals. All dogs receive medical care and behavioral training as needed to prepare them for a new home.
We do not have a facility.
All of our dogs are in foster homes.
The charity will also focus on efforts to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their animals to prevent the overpopulation of animals in Texas.
Our adoption fee is $300 which includes alteration, vaccines, microchip, training program in some cases & any medical treatments needed for each dog to be 100% healthy and successful in a home. Must have an approved application to set up a meet and greet.
