Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Lucy has been with us since Feb 2024. Unfortunately, we have found she’s not a good fit for our family. We have a very small house and a small budget. She’s right at 60 pounds and eats a bunch, so a different home would be best for her.
She is snuggly, sweet, and playful. She loves being outside and is a master escape artist. She’ll need a secure yard or loads of free running space.
She knows basic commands like sit and shake. Her recall needs work. She can be a very silly girl once she’s comfortable. She’ll be reserved at first, for sure.
She has a history of being abused by a man, so she is shy of new people, especially men. She loves our other dog and wants to play, but she’s pushy with the cats.
We had her DNA tested. She is 51% husky, and then a mix of German shepherd, Great Pyrenees, and others.
She would come with her large crate, almost a year’s-worth of her heartworm meds, food and water bowls, a few of her favorite toys, her leash, and some dog food to get her started.
