Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is sweet Axyll living his life at an Amish Puppy mill. He was recently rescued, and boy is he happy! He knows some basic manners and is a friendly boy. Not completely housebroken yet but making strides. He walks fairly well on a leash. He is great with dogs and has little interest in cats. He loves people and is good with kids. Axyll will be in Maine next weekend. He will then be neutered and ready for his forever home.

More about this rescue

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.

PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
