Dog's Name: Astro (AST1124SOPMN)
Estimated Breed: Brittany / Springer Spaniel MIX
Approximate Age: 7-8 months
Approximate Weight: 30 lbs
Currently Living at: Boarding
Adoption Fee: $400
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Say hello to Astro! This adorable young pup will steal your heart with his sweet personality. He's had a rough past and was dumped from a car in oncoming traffic and, luckily, rescued by a good Samaritan. We have him now and he is on his way to a happier life. With his friendly and playful nature, he will make a wonderful addition to one lucky family. His friendliness extends to other dogs too, so if you have a furry friend at home, they should get along just fine. Astro's past may have been rough, but he is a resilient fella and his optimistic spirit remains unbroken. Astro deserves a loving home where he can continue to grow and thrive. So, why not fill out an application today and give this sweetheart the loving forever home of his dreams!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
