Milkweed is a gorgeous black DSH, one of the five flowers that Callisto over grew this summer. As the biggest one in his litter, he knows he'll play an important role in his forever home's ecosystem, making sure butterflies of happiness will always exist in their hearts.

This sweet & curious chatterbox loves pets and playing with everything as a typical kitten, but would like his forever to have his favorite toys available as the feather wands and a laser pointer. His accomplishments include being an accomplished climber & training as a supurrvisor, in case his humans need his supervisory and micromanaging skills while they work on a computer. He also has enough courage to possibly thrive in a home with cat-savvy dogs, and potentially school-age children. While he can potentially be an only cat for the right human, due to his age having another animal for companionship and/or playmate is recommended for the human(s)' sanity.

Siblings: Snapdragon, Lilac, Pansy, and Sea Lavender. Mom is Callisto.

Adoption fee: $130. Adoption fee for two kitties: $200

Milkweek is neutered, microchipped, is up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia.

We offer a Foster program for those who would like to provide a temporary home to one in need.

All older puppies (6 mos or more) and adults are fully vetted prior to adoption.

Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue is a NO KILL animal rescue dedicated to providing shelter and loving care (which includes food, veterinary care and any other necessity) for animals that were abused, abandoned, owner surrendered, or destined to be euthanized due to over-crowded shelter conditions. Through the use of foster homes, Proverbs will care for these animals until such time as a good, responsible, loving home can be found for all adoptable animals.
