Hi, I'm Vita! I'm pretty smart, if I do say so myself. I've learned lots of tricks and commands, and I love showing them off. I'm also incredibly loyal. Once I get to know you, I'll be your best friend for life. I'm a sweet girl who loves nothing more than a good cuddle session. I'm friendly with everyone I meet, whether they're humans or other animals. I have a lot of love to give and I can't wait to find a family who will let me shower them with it. Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
