Hello there, I'm Ginger! I'm just a little puppy with a big heart. I love to play and make friends. Tug-of-war? Fetch? I'm game for anything! I'm also quite the cuddle bug. I'll snuggle up to you after a long day of play, hoping to make you smile. I've been told I'm very sweet, and I think it's because I love people so much. I can't wait to find my forever home where I can share all this love and joy. Why should you adopt me? Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
