A good samaratin doing his rounds to feed homeless dogs in South Dallas, came across poor Cinnamon who he knew was not well, she was young and in rough shape. She was skin and bones, her nails were curled under and she had no energy. They reached out for help and we rushed her to the ER. She was only 6 months old and needed immediate help. Turned out she was fighting parvo and an intestinal obstruction.
All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
