My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Colt is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Colt is a cattle/bird dog. His herding instincts run deep. He currently lives in town with no outdoor space. He really needs a more rural setting. He loves playing fetch with a tennis ball/frisbee as well as playing keep away. He would be a great working dog. He currently lives with children and cats. He jumps/plays with the children as if they are one of him. He does bark/chase the cats--our cats are older and don't appreciate him. He hasn't had a lot of socialization outside of the home. Additional adoption info

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.
