My name is
"Puppy"!

Puppy is a 9 year old Toy/Miniature Poodle mix weighing about 8lbs.  Puppy was surrendered to a shelter in Kansas with a few other dogs. Her family had moved - leaving them all behind.  A cousin had been feeding them at the house every couple days and finally brougth them to a shelter in the area.  She said Puppy was a sweet girl and well behaved.  The family had always called her Puppy, even though she is 9 years old now.  She has now been in a foster home here in CO for a couple weeks and here is what her fosters have to say about her:

"Puppy is a sweet ball of fluff with a good amount of energy but also embraces a lazy day on the couch.  She looks like a teddy bear straight out of a childrens book.  She loves being by your side whenever possible, and being light enough to pick up with one arm makes her the perfect lap dog.  Any walk you take her on she leads the way with a big smile on her face.  She loves trying to chase the squirrels and sniffing all the new, exciting stuff.  She is a pretty perfect little girl and deserves the best forever family who wont up and leave her like her last family."
