Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Harold! This sweet 5-year-old boy weighs 53 lbs and is ready to find his forever home. When Harold first arrived at the shelter, he was dealing with severe skin issues and had very little fur. However, thanks to regular medicated baths and a nutritious diet, he's made an incredible recovery and is now thriving! While Harold could benefit from some basic obedience training, he's highly treat-motivated, which will make training sessions a breeze. He's eager to please and just needs a little guidance to understand what you’d like him to do. Although he's not very interested in toys, Harold enjoys his walks and is quite good on a leash. If you're looking for a friendly companion with a heart of gold, Harold might just be the perfect match for you. Come meet him today!
Breed is based on physical features. All shelter animals are considered to be a mixture of breeds.

More about this shelter
Springdale Animal Services' mission is to provide shelter and care to the thousands of stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need every year. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and place many that are homeless in caring, permanent homes. We strive to ensure the welfare and public safety of our community and its animals through education of our citizens and enforcement of our ordinances. We promote spaying/neutering all domestic animals at the earliest appropriate age, as a means of reducing their overpopulation.
