My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Saturn, a kitten who`s full of energy and always ready for playtime. His playful antics will have you laughing out loud as he chases after anything that moves. He`s not just energetic, he`s also friendly and curious. His curiosity knows no bounds, always exploring and learning about his surroundings. Saturn has a knack for making friends, even with small dogs, thanks to his friendly nature. His mostly black face is contrasted by a white tip on his tail, adding to his unique charm. Saturn`s playful, energetic personality, combined with his friendly and curious nature, make him a perfect addition to any family. Adopt Saturn and let him fill your home with joy and laughter.

Saturn is a DSH male kitten about 3 months old as of November. He is white & black, with a mostly black face and white tail tip.

Saturn is living with his sister Jupiter. They can be adopted together or separately if there is another cat already in the home. Check out Jupiter`s profile, too. These kittens are used to being around a small dog (13 pounds or less).

He is looking for a forever home that is willing to foster to adopt until he is old enough to be fixed. Foster to adopt means, he will be living with you and you will be responsible for him (including financially) but the adoption will not be finalized until he is fixed. That usually happens around 6 months depending on what the vet says.

Saturn is up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped. He is currently being cared for by our rescue, but would like you to make him a part of your family today! The adoption fee of $125 EACH will benefit other CPR rescue animals.

Additional adoption info

Chicago Pet Rescue Adoption Process:

1. Fill out an adoption application on our website chicagopetrescue.org: Or send us an email as to which animal your are interested in. We will email you an adoption application.

2. An adoption counselor will call or email you within 48 hours to review your application.

If you would like to check the status of your application after 24 hours, you can call or email animals@chicagopetrescue.org

3. The adoption counselor will call your reference, landlord/condo association, and veterinarian (if applicable).

4. An adoption counselor will schedule a time for you, your family and any other pets to meet the pet(s) you've applied for.

5. A home visit is also necessary. If possible, the entire household should be present for the visit.

6. To make the adoption official, a signed adoption contract and an adoption fee will be collected before the animal is placed in your home. If an animal has not yet been spayed or neutered, there is an additional $50 spay/neuter deposit. At time of adoption, adopters should have a collar, leash and pet ID tag. The adoption fee and spay/neuter deposit are payable by cash or debit/credit card only.

All previous medical records and adoption policy will be turned over to the new adopter.

More about this rescue

CPR is a foster/volunteer based rescue, with a 501c(3) non-profit status, dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned animals. We do not have a central "shelter" as all of our animals are placed in foster homes until forever homes can be found. Our goal is to rescue as many animals as we can safely manage thru foster homes. We rescue dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, birds and other small animals.
