My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This super sweet, tiny, mama was rescued from the streets of lafayette with two of her kittens not much younger than she. She is sleek and muscular and has a white traingle on her otherwise beautiful black chest.

She seems to be enjoying the warmth of a home and delivered meals. She is a good eater while keeping her youthful figure and is excellent with her litter box habits. She loves to knead and suckle on a soft blanket and sleep by her humans legs. She is an avid hunter, flying high for the wand toys during playtime. She purrs gently and snuggles in to show her appreciation.

She is fearful of new humans but quickly has bonded to each of her successive fosters and will bond very quickly with her new adopters. We think she would prefer to be the only pet in the home or at least to be the queen of the home. She is fairly (alpha) dominant and confident around other animals. She had a tough start but is spayed, healthy up to date on her vaccines and ready to fall into life with a human companion or two.

Our adoption process starts with an application and moves onto a meet and greet with the animal and foster, then finalized with a home check before finalizing the adoption. It can take up to 4 days for applications to process. Our adoption fee can vary based on species and age.
This is a volunteer program and we do not have resources to contact every applicant at times – if you have not received a response within one week, please check the website for status updates on the pet you applied for.
